Join Music Theatre Guernsey as they bring to life Shakespeare’s much loved classic about magic, betrayal, love and forgiveness.
The west coast sunset provides the perfect backdrop to one of Shakespeare’s most beloved shows in this open-air retelling of Prospero’s determination to overcome his historic plight.
Our evening begins at 6pm where the beautiful gardens of St Peter’s Church will be open to enjoy a picnic or a glass of bubbly. We will have the bbq sizzling, a pizza oven making fresh Italian pizza and Stephano’s outdoor bar ready to relieve you of your sorrows!
At 7.30pm, our ship sets sail… but…
A tempest is on the horizon – our ship is broken by the waves, and King Alonzo and his court are washed up on the shores of a magical and mysterious island. It appears that no one lives there, but, unseen, the great and powerful Prospero plans his revenge. Aided by his trusty tree spirit Ariel, the fate of all the shipwrecked souls now rest purely in his hands.
