My Left Nut

The true story of a boy growing up with no father to guide him through and a giant ball to weigh him down. 400 millilitres. That’s how much liquid was drained from Michael’s left testicle. That’s more than a can of coke. He should have told someone sooner but who could he turn to? His dad died ten years ago from motor neurone disease and besides, school is full of rumours about what the giant bulge in his trousers actually is. Who wants to stop that? Now a major BBC Three TV series; join Music Theatre Guernsey for this original coming of age comedic play about masculinity, friendship, family, love, grief and testicles.

Fabulous performance. Good setting for a play like this. Easy booking process and helpful and chatty people on the door on arrival.
Will certainly be looking out for more of your productions – we are very lucky on island to have some very talented performers and a small scale production like this can showcase their talents sometimes more than a bigger productions. Also, the short timing of the show at an hour makes it perfect for a midweek treat.

  • What an outstanding performance that made me laugh and cry! The young actor held the attention of the audience throughout whilst delivering a truly memorable performance. Added together with the other group members who support the performance and greet the audience it made for a lovely Friday night and as ever I’ll be looking out for future shows. Well done to all involved and may the community continue to support your efforts.
